Understand and Command

Understand and command is the center of this T.L. Osborn sermon. Typical, he claims, of his sermons, calling people to see and believe Jesus the Christ.
I find it very encouraging to consider that in Christ we are far about principalities and powers. Still, we the church have generally not understood this Paul’s, and T.L.’s point. We still fight demons.Check out what he says.
It seems to me that also this leads to a great vision of who sons of God should be. Confident. Understanding. Commanding over evil.
It clearly contrasts a words perspective and the proper grace perspective — and why there is a different.
I also appreciated his words about the women in the Upper Room. Check it out.

Death to Self OR The Crucified Life

Wow! This was a long time in coming, but it may be the most important episode. Preaching “death to self” or (surprise to me) more properly “The Crucified Life” as good news! Of utmost importance in terms of being saved, not losing your salvation, having a good life, and not exasperating your children. Worth more teaching, which will be forthcoming — sometime. Please do check back. In the meantime, please share.

Sonship Assumes Fatherhood

And obvious truth: to be a son, there has to be a father. Another obvious truth: that we are children of God at all, depends upon the love of the Father.

So how did we miss this in our discussions (so many years ago) about sonship? Let’s go over basic scriptures, to see what they really say. A little Greek, but mostly just the flow of the original argument, establishes that sonship is about growing in what was given us in our birth — rather than about some new “gospel” of works, etc.

I think you will rejoice when you get the idea.

Mentioned as preaching sonship rooted in the love of God:  Dan Nori’s course hosted by Joseph Peck, January 2019, and Johnny Enlow’s Rise 7 podcast #133 and  #87.

Please share to those interested.

What Does a Mature Son of God look like?

A Clear idea of what a mature Son of God looks like. This answers “what about eschatology?” and “What about 7M?” Quick mention of Rev 12 and I Thessalonians 5. What does a Son of God look like? Like JESUS. See Acts 10:38. So let’s see every one de-oppressed. How about that?

I Will Ascend – 3 of 3

Finishing out the “There is a Fine Line Between Sonship Doctrine and The ‘I Will Ascend’ Doctrine.  Substituting ourselves for the unique, begotten Son, Jesus who is the Lord God is over the line and into the “I will ascend” doctrine.  Check out Sam Fife’s original booklets, particularly Man, Maid, and Manchild, to see the substitution for Jesus. The ministry was the bridegroom. This is no longer taught, but is revealing.Good example of what to be careful.
